The Driba

The Driba was the outer entrance room. In it were decorated banquettes set into the walls. They had elaborate tilework (the left hand panel can be seen in more detail by clicking on it) and plasterwork above (which can also be seen by clicking on it)

The arch above the banquette in the driba is heavily decorated in plaster. The outer decoration in white and black stripes is typically Ottoman
